Our story
A small group and an evening prayer.
Vesper began in 2018 when a dozen friends started praying evening prayer together in an apartment on Hawthorne. Most of them had been part of big, busy churches and were looking for something slower.
Today we meet in a borrowed chapel on Belmont Street. Our gatherings follow the ancient pattern of the church: gathering, word, prayer, table, and sending. We keep it small on purpose so everyone can be known.
