Terms of Service
Last updated July 13, 2026
These terms govern your use of Church Studio, a church-website service operated by White Oak Media (“White Oak,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
Church Studio lets a church build, edit, host, and manage its website — sermons, events, pages, giving links, and related tools — set up and supported by White Oak Media.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your sign-in secure, and for the activity of anyone you invite to help manage your site. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Free trial, subscription & billing
- New churches start with a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to begin, but you are not charged during the trial.
- After the trial, the subscription renews monthly at the price shown at signup (currently $39/month) until canceled. Prices may change with notice.
- You can cancel any time. When you close your website it stays live through a grace period, remains reversible during that window, and nothing is deleted until the window ends.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
Your content
You own the content you add to your website. You grant White Oak the limited license needed to host, display, and back up that content so we can operate your site. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to use it, and for ensuring it is lawful and appropriate.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Church Studio to break the law, infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Third-party services
Church Studio integrates with services like Google, Planning Center, and Stripe. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms, and we’re not responsible for them.
Termination
You may close your website at any time from your account. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, violation of these terms, or to comply with the law — and, where reasonable, we’ll give you notice and a chance to export your content.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Church Studio is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, White Oak disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and we’ll communicate significant changes by email.
